Our Quick 2020 Real Estate Market Update
Every year in January at Focus Real Estate we take some time to meet up as a team and reflect on the changes we’re seeing in the local real estate market. It’s always good to step back, look at the market stats, hear each other’s perspectives and look for trends that may affect how we do things in the new year.
We had a chance to do that again recently and we wanted to share those insights with you, our Scoop readers, in case you may be considering a move in the new year. (or maybe you know someone considering a move…we’d love to help!) In the update we touch base on interest rates, home inventory, new “coming soon” laws, “ibuyers” and more.
We get this annual update out in January because we find that most Stapleton folks, if they’re planning to make a move, get going pretty early in the year. We’re seeing it again this year. We’re already helping sellers prepare their homes for sale (like this one from Ashley Faller on our team listed today in South Stapleton!) and helping buyers prepare themselves to jump when the right house appears. The overall market sees when the homes close in Spring/early Summer but the actual legwork is already getting underway.
